vuBrief
vuBrief is an advanced file and directories synchronization utility, capable of performing following tasks :
- Transfer and synchronization of files between directories within one computer.
- Files synchronization between remote computers with and without networks.
- Files synchronization between local directory and FTP directory.
- Backup archiving of files and directories.
vuBrief Backup capabilities comprise of the following features :
- performance optimizations for the frequent backups operations
- files backup copies are compressed (proprietary advanced ZIV algorithm is used of compression/decompression)
- Backup archives are updated only with the changed and new files since the last backup operation. Unchanged files are kept intact
- Backup archives contain only the latest copies of the files. During backup process the old file copy is automatically erased
- it is possible to specify additional properties for “important” files, which allows to archive full history of important files changes in the backup (old copies are not erased)
