Newzie

Newzie is a news aggregator, which can be used to monitor RSS and ATOM formatted feeds, as well as normal webpages.

Newzie periodically checks your subscriptions and automatically retrieves new content. It then notifies you and presents those updates.

Features :

• Monitor normal webpages for updates.
• Check retrieved posts for those special words and present them separately so that you can reach them quickly.
• Combine many feeds into one bulk channel and treat them as one feed inside Newzie.
• Present retrieved content in HTML-based pages which facilitates browsing and lets you read them quickly.
• Keep you up-to-date with the NewsBar and Popup Notifier
• Presents new posts separately from already existing posts in, what is called, highligths.
• Can Compile unread posts published within given time interval into a slideshow and let you read them quickly.
• you can assign priority levels to your subscriptions. Newzie uses those assigned levels to decide which news it should show to you first.
