This is not Freeware. There is a trial period then you need to purchase a lifetime Registration Code. There is a provision for a Free registration code but you have to get a new code each time you convert and file. What a pain and deceitful product.

Does what it says on the tin. Faster than most, including payware. Not too fancy. Not many frills but the menu maker is a plus and works well. Includes a stand-alone DVD burner. A nice stable piece of kit.
#1 – Nothing can turn a DAT file into a DVD, apples and oranges.
#2 – No viruses or anything like. Get rid of Comodo, try AVAST or similar with regular updates.
#3 – Freeware, no nags. Will check for updates if you want. Advert for it’s own products on exit. That’s all.
I for one am grateful that software of this caliber is made available for free.

Don’t bother with this. After downloading it, it requires all manner of CODECS which have to be downloaded from AFS4You webiste. After all installs etc., the AVS4You wants to leave a watermark on your videos unless you pay. i.e. This is NOT FREEWARE

WAS a great program..but after you burn a few dvds it will no longer make any. I think it works off your IP address cause it wont work on either of my computers. I have no ha anything pop up about buying anything so I dont know how to fix the issue. They dont really help when you email on the issue either. It will finalize the disc in 11 seconds after you make to many dvds. Great for a bit but you will need to find another program.

Poor software with lack of information. Also received an error 6 trying to burn AVI. No further explanation. Don’t waste your time.

I installed the program, received the error code 6 when trying to burn DVD, but no information anywhere, what error (6) means.

After some additional trial and errors I was able to make some progress in my attempt to convert and burn a MP4 to DVD format.
Downloaded Stinky’s MPEG-2 codec as well and then it worked!
It’s currently converting, 53 min into it so far, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will finish successfully.
