CleverCleaner

CleverCleaner can save you work and time, and it recovers a lot of free space on your hard disk. You sometimes don’t know that little files and huge temporary directories (downloads and so on) are filling up your disk.

CleverCleaner locates these files and deletes them. This way you can gain a lot of free space. The method: The program searches the hard disk for the suffixes of files like *.tmp *, *~.* or *.chk and deletes them.

That’s very useful if you download or copy much of data. The CleverCleaner is easy to run, in the options you can add or delete file suffixes. That is useful if you don’t want to delete all the *.bak-files – for example. And don’t panic about important system-files: They’re listed in the exceptions below, and thus they’re safe. You may also add and delete custom entries there as well. A little help is built in in the statusbar. Because of all its options CleverCleaner is a flexible, free customizable and useful tool.
