AccessProof is a simple, yet powerful Windows program that allows you to securely remove sensitive data from your hard disk. When you “delete” a file normally, the operating system simply hides it and marks the area of the disk where it is located as free. Until the area is overwritten, which could take monthes, the “deleted” data is completely accessible.
AccessProof overwrites the file using specially designed algorithms before deleting. In addition, if you have already deleted sensitive information normally, you can clean all remaining data from free space as well. Features normally only found in commercial software is now available free of charge!
